Hey, I’m Dae.

I’m Michaela — but please, call me Dae. I’m a British oil painter, and my passion is bringing a little more magic into your life through art.

After being diagnosed with a chronic illness and losing much of my mobility, my love for painting found its way back to me. I began painting as a way to escape the feeling of being trapped as my illness worsened.

My work reflects the beauty of your favourite fantasy worlds, by offering the glimpse you’ve always wanted of your beloved scenes and characters; like a portal right between the pages.

Through original oil paintings and embellished apparel, I bring those worlds to life.
